Creating fun, technical dances with a story behind each dance, with aim to compete at competitions around the UK!
Lyrical dance is a dance style that embodies various aspects of ballet, jazz, acrobatics, and modern dance. Lyrical dance is “strongly associated with clearly displayed emotional moods, fast-moving choreographic strategies, emphasis on virtuosic display, illustration of song lyrics, and, in group form, exact unison. It is danced at a faster pace than ballet, but not as fast as jazz.
Taught by a experienced competitive dance coach, qualified BGU Advanced Pom, Jazz and Lyrical, with a diploma in Contempory dance, and a disploma in Musical Theatre from a UK drama school.

Break Dance Crew

A class where we learn Authentic Street Dance, including the history of where this style came from, and commercial dance. Commercial dance is one of the 'umbrella' dance styles. Often seen in music videos and on TV shows (such as X Factor and BGT) It is a fusion of the many styles of street and jazz, combined together with attitude, dynamics and personality of the dancer. This style is a brilliant way for people to express them selfs and to find a whole new way of being creative! We learn the difference between these two styles, as well as how to fuse them together through fun routines!

My teaching methods vary with my students. No two students work exactly the same, while I make a goal for my students to achieve, I help them all reach that goal in very different ways. I like to look at character back grounds in depth, working out their back grounds so that the understanding of the character is very clear and easier to portray. I also like to really break down the script to understand what is really happening to said character. Once you have these skills we can really get our teeth in to making a phenomenal act!
